## What happens to a tip

**Who reads submissions?**

Only the people who run this project. We do not pass what you send to the dental plans, the State or anyone else without your permission.

**Will my name be published?**

No, not unless you tell us in writing that we may. You can leave the name field blank. If we ever want to use part of what you tell us on this site, we will ask you first, and we will leave out anything that could identify you unless you say otherwise.

**How should I send documents?**

The form does not take attachments. Describe the document in your message and leave an email address, and we can follow up, or email it to [connect@icantsmilecalifornia.org](mailto:connect@icantsmilecalifornia.org). Before you share any letter, black out your name, address, Medi-Cal ID number, Social Security number and date of birth, and keep the parts that show the plan's name, the date and what was decided.

**What can this project not do?**

We are not a dental plan, lawyers or your advocate. We cannot see your file, fix your coverage, book an appointment or overturn a denial, and nothing on this site is legal, dental or benefits advice. For your own coverage, call Medi-Cal Dental at 1-800-322-6384. To change plans, call Health Care Options at 1-800-430-4263. For a complaint about a plan, the Department of Managed Health Care Help Center is at 1-888-466-2219.
